Fix: | This error can occur when the Project Management application is launched for the first time, and occurs before the login prompt is displayed. The error occurs when the user does not have sufficient access to the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Primavera This registry key is created when the user logs into Primavera for the first time. The user will need permissions to create this key during the first login. |

Use DB Config to Administer Private DB Login Run Database Configuration from Start Programs, Primavera, Help and Utilities, Database Configuration Click Next. Select Administration Tasks. Click Next. Select Administer Private Database Logins. Click Next. Select the appropriate database alias name. Click Next. Enter privileged database login (By default, username and password are privuser). Click Next. Click Next. Highlight the existing entry and press the delete button in the window. Click Add. Type privuser in both the Private DB Username and Password boxes. Click Finish. |
Fix: | Check the pm.ini file under the [Method Database] section. Add the alias that is listed in the dbxconnections.ini file to the pm.ini file. |
