Solution ID: prim31550
Printing to PDF from Project Management 5.0 produces margins which are wider at the right and bottom.
Status: Reviewed
Version(s): 5.0, 6.0, 6.1, 6.2

Fact: May occur in Adobe 5.0, 6.0 or 7.0.
Fact: Print Preview shows correctly.
Problem:

Printing to PDF from Project Management 5.0 produces margins which are wider at the right and bottom.

Problem: Margins are bigger than expected.
Problem: Printout does not fill entire page when printing to PDF file.
Problem: Printout is squished when printing to PDF.
Problem: Margins are .25″ in the layout, but .75″ in the PDF file that’s generated when printing to Acrobat.
Cause: By default, Project Management calculates the margins for DeskJet printers. This will work for most of the printers; however; certain PDF drivers and plotters calculate the visible margins ignoring non-printable border areas.
Fix:

Add the following line to the PM.INI file location in the Project Management directory:

[Printer Options]
DeskJetMargins=FALSE
